Music Together is an early childhood music and movement program for children from birth through age eight—and the grownups who love them!
First offered in 1987 in Princeton, New Jersey, as an educational project of the Center for Music and Young Children®, our music classes help little ones develop their innate musicality—and much, much more.A Music Together session is not a traditional "class of music", nor a model of musical perfection. It is, on the other hand, a way to make music with our children!It is a relaxing, engaging, participatory and exploring experience that promotes musical growth, allows the child to develop their emotional intelligence and lay the foundations for their future progress in the music field.

Philosophy
Most people think being musical is a question of talent—you either have it or you don't. While that may sound reasonable, it's completely untrue! All children can learn to dance and sing just as naturally as they learn to walk and talk. Music Together is an internationally recognized music program for children from birth through age 8—and the grownups who love them. Parents, primary caregivers, early childhood professionals—everyone is involved in the educational process. First offered to the public in 1987, we've always been pioneers in the field of early childhood music with truly innovative, high-quality music education and outreach programs that redefine what musical means. We're research-based, so we know our stuff and we're good at what we do. But we're also down to earth, accessible, and all about having a good time. It's a balance that makes us both serious and fun. What can we say? We're serious about having fun!
